On Saturday, July the 6^th, sport club Leśne Ludki with  the community Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Żarek Letnisko organized a jubilee run Bieg Leśnych Ludków. Jubilee – because the first edition took place in 2009, exactly ten years ago. Although Leśne Ludki live in different places, they meet altogether with pleasure to run and do nordic walking in surrounding forests. In this year’s edition, 46  of Leśne Ludki took part in the run with their friends, and the aim of the game was to cover the distance of 1.5 km of a forest trail in any form they wanted – running or walking, as many times as they managed, in 6 hours’ time.

As it has turned out, Leśne Ludki are not only enthusiasts of running, but also – helping. During the game, a collection for our Kropla Szczęścia Foundation was organized and supervised by one of the members of the community Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Żarek Letnisko – Ms. Ilona Mrowiec. We raised together the sum of 563.90 zł. All money was given to support our proteges, their treatment, rehabilitation and the purchase of medical equipment.

Kropla Szczęścia Foundation is a non-profit organization, which does not take any commission from organized fundraising events, which means that all funds are fully directed to implementation of statutory aims.
